The market for these will really crash once the Covid hysteria is finally over.

Are these compatible with the 3m cartridges? I use a partial with goggles for pollen season and moving to a whole mask would be easier.

These are for working around chemicals and dust, they're not for Covid.

You want the PD-101, those are compatible with the 3M filters with the standard bayonet connectors. Unfortunately the code doesn't work on those. These PD-100 that are on sale take a proprietary filter.

That's why these are on sale. Are these still worth it for spraying insecticides and general use? (Not for covid)

If you don't mind buying replacement filters from them only, they should work for what you want to use it for. That's probably a personal preference, I like to use the 3M filters myself.

In case it matters to anyone- these are not NIOSH certified according to their website.

Cut and pasted from "See Deal" link.

If you don't like the filters that come stock on the PD-100, easily remove the proprietary grey threaded adapter to convert the PD-100 into the PD-101 and attach any industry standard bayonet style filter, including 3M!

Got one, thanks! Just used my half-face respirator earlier today and this would've been even better.

As in, with organic vapor (list of [shopify.com]) and P100 protection for particulates down to 0.3 microns, this is probably an overkill for Covid.

And it accepts all 3M type bayonet filters and cartridges.

The filters that come with it [parcilsafety.com] are $40 on their site and appear to be a standard 40mm threaded NATO connection that as you say, can be removed and use the standard bayonet type filters used by civilians.

That only covers the inhalation part of the equation, not exhalation.

This type of mask is intended for work hazards, not going to the grocery store or whatever the other poster meant by "covid hysteria". There was a market for these masks before covid and there will be after covid.

Right First thing on the description in bold red font.

Fact, the "covid hysteria" is real.... $Trillions borrowed with the economy, schools, etc. shut down to yet recover with mandated population participation; including masks. I suppose it comes down to why people are wearing masks in the grocery store and if it is to protect self against covid or whatever virus of the day, those blue so called surgical masks are symbolic at best. But, they might help a little from the infected that should cough or sneeze.

Nevertheless, that is why these are all called personal protection devices.... One can always add the minimalist so called surgical mask under this unit in the futile attempt to protect the world from 'exhaust.'

People do what they want, but having a decent mask or three seems kind of prudent for a situation that is probably not going away with the money/power involved.... and one can still use for working.

Update: just received mine. Super comfortable and tight sealing, but get this.... It comes with two filters that were safety certified in a lab located in Shenzen, CHINA! lol, you can't make this stuff up. Obviously they went straight in the trash and I installed some 3M filters.
