Way better battery life. I think the one without the bridge you have to change the batteries every 4-6 months depends how much the lock is used automatically. and the bridge is closer to a year. Mine has been running for 6-7 months and its still somewhere around 70% battery. And I come in and out the house a lot.
The auto lock feature works great when the door is closed. Sometimes I leave the door open to the garage and it will not know its open and the kids run through and slam the door shut.....with the deadbolt out.
Isn't that one of the features on this one though? Or are you saying it doesn't work well.

I'm glad you brought that to my attention. Was bout to switch from my August lock to this as it has fingerprint sensor. Guess I'll just wait for August to add one to theirs.

I believe if you have auto lock turned on no matter what time setting it will attempt to lock after 3 minutes whether closed or open. I noticed this because I set mine to 0 seconds and on a previous firmware it would be rather unreliable at detecting if it was closed but would auto lock itself after a few minutes.

Wow what a huge miss. Thanks to all for pointing out this huge flaw... Seems typical w eufy products.
I somehow got a $20 coupon clip for it that showed up on the page the first time I viewed it. It didn't show up the other times I went back to the page.

Also the current firmware is much more accurate at knowing when the door closes.
