About the time, sure I might spend 2-3 minutes each day doing my searches but you could have done it instead of typing your post above.... I have not spent my points since they discontinued the 1 year of xbox live and getting close to enough points to get a free series X once they are in stock. Now that takes commitment but not what I stated above.
Now disregarding that, you can buy one year of xbox live for $60, buy 3 of them for $180, then convert to GPU. OR you could buy them when they go on sale which $40 is a thing of the past but have seen $50 recently.
The searches get you 270 points a day. Add that with the quizzes and polls (assuming you get the quiz 100% right each time) and that's 300 to 340 a day (more accurately, 340 twice a week, 310 once, 300 rest of week). That averages out to about 2200 or so as week, or 8800 a month. Let's be generous and throw on an extra 75/ for the monthly punch sheet and occasional 150 point streak bonuses. That puts us at 9550.
Assuming you are the higher level on rewards, a month of GPU is 12,000 points and 3 months is 35000 points. That does get you closer than I was anticipating, but you still have to keep up with Game Pass Quests and Xbox rewards pretty regularly to get free GPU, and that's where the bulk of your time investment comes in.
I use Microsoft Rewards all the time and love it for what it is (when it functions properly), but only a blind fanboy would try to lie and mislead people about what it is. When it works properly it's a great service, but it's riddled with issues (getting mobile searches to count is a particular pain in the userbase collective ass it seems) and it takes a good amount of investment of your time to get GPU for free on a continuous basis. In other words it's a fantastic supplement to Xbox, but unless you spend all your time gaming you can't pay for GPU with it all the time.

Geez, try to be a bigger asshole.
My point wasn't that it has no value, it was that if access to games is the main reason why you are paying into these subscriptions, then you are buying the wrong subscription because there are better options.
I don't pay for XBLG and PS+ for the access to games, I do it because they are required to play online. The access to games is just a cherry on top that I could leave or take at this point because Cherry Pass exists where I get access to hundreds of cherries every month for the same price. If you only care about the cherries, then get Cherry Pass.

That said, I did get a lol out of your little value rant.... Implying that paying to use your internet to play your games is representative of any sort of value whatsoever was funny in a dumb, ironic kind of way, so I guess you can take satisfaction in knowing you gave me more entertainment than GWG has.

Develop less solipsistic "arguments" and maybe people will have reason to respect you.

I never said I used my points to buy GPU from microsoft. That is a complete waste of points. What I did say is that I have been saving my points since they discontinued 1 year Live membership and almost have enough for a series X.
Yet again, I will repeat myself. You can buy xbox live 1 year codes for $50. You can convert that directly to GPU. But hey, have fun trying to find error in what I am saying. I will keep enjoying my 5 years of GPU that I have had on my account (2 years used and then hit the maximum again) for the price of 3 XBL codes (which I got from microsoft rewards for 72K points total) and about $130 of EA play codes.
