Not everyone play FPS game that need 1ms. There are other games you know.

Is that really the consensus? Millions of gamers via steam surveys are on 1080p 60hz monitors. 1440p 100hz is night and day different. This is a gaming monitor through and through.

I've had this now for almost a year now. Great monitor- I don't game or anything but for work it definitely takes the place of two smaller 23in monitors in my workspace.

Hey guys. I don't know much about monitors. I've been wanting to switch to a 2 monitor set up. Would this do the job? So I can work on 2 work projects on one monitor if I get this? Thanks
I'm no monitor expert. But I bought 2 of these for my home office. They replaced 3 24" 8 year old dvi Samsung's. These look fantastic. Basically, having 2 of these gives about the same screen space as 4 24" monitors. I can basically have 4 things open at the same time. I do a lot of comparing maps to spreadsheets to databases so this has made it much better for me. These monitors are awesome for office work. I'm not a pc gamer so I can't comment on gaming use.

Bought this a few weeks ago when the 32 was on sale for 250.... so far so good, just using for productivity right now and upgrading from an ancient 22" (pre-1080p 😮) monitor and it's been great. No dead pixels and great brightness.

My CPU is i7-4790 with Intel 4600 graphic. The maximum output resolution is 3840x2160@60Hz from Intel's website. This monitor works on 100Hz, just wondering if the end result will suffer because of the 60Hz refresh rate on my integrated graphic card. I don't play games, just use it for work and watch movies.
Thanks,

Ah, good catch. The 35" has 6 more square inches of real estate, my bad. What's really interesting is that the 35" has 23 more square inches than a 34". I wonder why we don't see more panel makers making more 35-38" ultrawides. It probably has something to do with maintaining a standard resolution while retaining a 21-9 aspect ratio.
Holy crap, I didn't realize that a 21:9 35" monitor only has 6 square inches more screen real estate than a 16:9 32" monitor (actually 5.9 inches to be exact). Maybe the space is more usable since it's so wide. But I think I might save $300 (plus tax) and keep my 32"!

This is a great price but curious to hear from others who have used the current LG 35" ultrawide monitor from Costco and compared it to this monoprice monitor. I have the aforementioned LG monitor for work and it works great along with my work laptop.. Only thing that annoys me is when the laptop wakes up i have to move the windows /browsers back over to the monitor. I'm assuming this monoprice monitor wouldn't have that same issue?

It seems kind of weird to see someone comment about having better screen real estate as a 32" 16:9 actually has about 18 more square inches of area than a 34" 21:9. and the 34" is only about 3 inches wider.

Don't mind me, in my mind I've been debating whether it would be better to get a 34" or a 32".
It's because all of the "adjective-noun-number" posters may be bots shilling for monoprice

Had both and the 34" Dark Matter is well worth the extra $90 if you do any kind of gaming.

That depends on resolution and whether both are curved, I think curved 16:9 32" in 4K will provide more screen real estate than 21:9 in 35" UWQHD.

This monitor doesn't have G-Sync. Freesync is not G-Sync. Freesync works flawlessly and this is a fine gaming monitor if you don't play competitive FPS.
Yes, but many reviews I read said they were able to get g-sync working with DP cable.

Noob question, does these monitors have build in speakers? I'm gonna be transitioning from iMac to Mac mini, so I want to know if these monitors have any build in speakers or do I have to buy it separately? I've never owned a PC or a monitor before so I'm not sure if monitors are like TV and has build in speakers.

Dumb question. Right now using 2 monitors connected to 2 laptops each for work. Can I replace with this monitor to connect to 2 laptops? No right ?
