It's the only Batman story in years that rises above the plateau of shit where most comics live.
The Batman: Earth One graphic novel is also on sale for $8.80 here if anyone's interested
Would like to know of a forum too. I'd say start by looking past DC and Marvel heroes to broaden your horizons. Image has been killing it last couple years- some great titles to check out are Saga, Paper Girls, Monstress, East of West, Black Science, Sex Criminals, Chew, Gideon Falls , Ice Cream Man, could go on and on.

say where do you guys discuss Comics at? I'm trying to get back in the trade but I'm stuck reading 80s Batman and 90s X-Men. not complaining, obviously the best era of comics. However I can broaden my horizons a bit with some newer stuff

Will check some of these out. I heard a lot of great things about Saga. Indies what got me reading back in the 2000s Sin City, Wanted, and Kick Ass and a few others were some of my favorites

Is it good?
What do you mean?
It is. Totally worth it at this price.
My point was that most comics, particularly superhero, are shit and this one surprisingly isn't.
