It's the only Batman story in years that rises above the plateau of shit where most comics live.

Would like to know of a forum too. I'd say start by looking past DC and Marvel heroes to broaden your horizons. Image has been killing it last couple years- some great titles to check out are Saga, Paper Girls, Monstress, East of West, Black Science, Sex Criminals, Chew, Gideon Falls , Ice Cream Man, could go on and on.

say where do you guys discuss Comics at? I'm trying to get back in the trade but I'm stuck reading 80s Batman and 90s X-Men. not complaining, obviously the best era of comics. However I can broaden my horizons a bit with some newer stuff
Reddit has a variety of comic reddits. If you enjoy 90s x-men, the current run, starting with House of X/Power of X (Best bet is to pick them up collected as they read in alternating issues). If that storyline piques your interset, there are several awesome series going on from there right now.

I've been following Sean Murphy's career for a bit over a decade and this is probably his best work yet.

My point was that most comics, particularly superhero, are shit and this one surprisingly isn't.
There's a Sean Murphy Black and White statue from a few years that's my favorite in the line

Will check some of these out. I heard a lot of great things about Saga. Indies what got me reading back in the 2000s Sin City, Wanted, and Kick Ass and a few others were some of my favorites
Saga is the greatest comic of the last 3 or 6 years

Exactly why I'm looking for a place other than reddit. It's too PC over there
You need a comics gate forum or site, all they do is complain about women and minority races and politics in comics

I don't know much about comics, so hopefully this isn't a dumb question. Is this appropriate for a 7 year old?

I really liked this story, but no way I'd pay that much for it.

Be patient, it'll be cheaper.

This may not be for everyone but a lot of people want to get back into comics and find them way too political now days. A bunch of artist are doing indie and self publishing. Ethan Van Sciver started a publishing/distribution to try and help get these comics out. Another to check out is "Your Boi Zach" who reviews comics from Marvel and DC daily. Nerdrotic is another who use to own a comic book store. And a series called Starblades is supposed to be really great.
I really wanted to get back into comics and found out about how toxic the work was and just stayed away. I hope you find these people (YouTube mostly) helpful and then can help you choose a uniquely American art form. I have no agenda other than saving comics.

OP, thank you for posting this and for the poster who posted the other deal. I've been looking at both of these for a while, I'm clicking buy now.

Enjoy Memorial Day sales SDers!

No they don't. You just somehow have perverted your political beliefs into weird corners of your life. I'm watching YoungRippa99 right now complain about people like that.

If you laugh at your own farts the toxic political crowd says you're an homophobic, woman hating, racist. People who say that were hatched not born.

This is about deals and comics not rhetoric, leave us alone.

Be aware that this is an Elseworlds non-canon type story. It doesn't happen in the DC Prime universe.

"Written and drawn by Sean Murphy, Batman: White Knight is a non-canon eight-issue miniseries running from October 2017 to May 2018, focusing on the redemption of Jack Napier and the struggles of the eponymous Dark Knight."
