Damn called them today and didn't get this offer. I was trying to get the pixel 5 for $299 but those seem to have run out of stock. Was offered the Iphone11 for free but through $10 bill credits.

Thanks O.P.! I've been waiting for a contract deal since I don't want to upgrade to an "unlimited" plan. I called and was able to get an S21 Ultra 5G 512MB version for $776.94 with a two year contract. It's on backorder which I'm okay with.

Are you sure they won't change the plan. I once got fooled by an agent eventually had to return the phones + 5 hours of customer service convincing.

Call back and try another agent, I did this last year with the Iphone XR, got no where with the first agent, called again and the next agent couldn't have been more helpful, gave me the deal, waived the shipping/activation fee.
The 30 month credit deal with trade in is different than the 24 month deal. The 24 month deal is basically a loyalty reward to get you to stay for at least another 2 years. The 30 month credit you are free to leave anytime, subject to the penalty of leaving before 30 months. Also, I'm sure you will have to pay in full also for the iphone 11 if you leave before the end of 2 years.

Glad it helped
Iphone 11 for free, that's a pretty sweet deal also.
Also was this in installments or $500 outright?

Good news, most companies pay the fee to switch.
