Pretty sure it's the typical "if it breaks, we will decide if it is manuf. defects or you broke it (hence no warranty)"

So worse than harbor freight's lifetime warranty? I asked them what that meant and they said "bring it in, no receipt is fine, and we'll hand you a new one" What is a good question tho, what if it's a old discontinued product, do they give you the next best or tell you you're sol?

I would jump in if it had 12mm and 14MM. Only socket useful is 8mm and 10mm on Nissan and Honda. hard pass as all other sockets are useless.
12mm and 14mm are usually found in 3/8 drive sets, this is a 1/4 drive hence the smaller sizes.

Had same issue with Lowe's and Kobalt lifetime warranty a year ago. Lowe's pointed at Kobalt and Kobalt at Lowe's. Lowe's wanted to pay me 1/2 the price for my set, I was able to find the receipt and after two hours dealing with Lowe's manager with Kobalt idiots on the phone, she gave me a Lowe's store credit.

That was the last time I stepped into Lowe's. Still have the store credit, can't us it online - only in the store. Can't give it to anyone because it's linked to my name.

The experience was hell, and I do not look forward to any of my Kobalt tools breaking. Never buying anything with Kobalt name on it, or any tools that is owned by Lowe's .

How is it that the warranty on POS harbor freight tools is better? Best warranty (for now) is the craftsman warranty, right? Or did it change?

Craftsman is shit now days. Nothing like the old days of rock solid tools. Harbor freight actually has a great warranty on hand tools (not power tools). You bring it in and exchange it for a new one.

Forgive my laziness and ignorance. If 8 and 10 are good for honda. 12 and 14 would be good for?

you realize you loose all credibility when you spout off verbal diarrhea like this? Many tools sold at lowes are also sold at HD, also sold on Amazon, etc. Clearly you have an ax to grind against lowes because of some bad experience that could have happened anywhere in regard to any tool brand. Idk, i just dont get it.
