You don't have to return the old one. They only do price adjustments within 30 days but If your local store still has it in stock you can rebuy it and return the new one at the old price. CS may even do it without having to bring the TV to the front. My store helped me out when I did this with a large rolling toolbox. It was after 30 days so I had to repurchase it and return at the old price but the toolbox was so big and heavy they didn't make me roll it up to the checkout. They just took care of the transaction at the return/CS area. If your store still has it in stock it's worth a try.

They don't, I had something similar happen with a Roomba. I ended up buying another one at the sale price and returning one using the first receipt.

Saw this post right when I got out Costco. Went back in and none left except for the demo. Brought the demo for 10% discount off by manager. $1170, used citi card for extra 2yr warranty on top. Dallas, tx location
