You don't have to return the old one. They only do price adjustments within 30 days but If your local store still has it in stock you can rebuy it and return the new one at the old price. CS may even do it without having to bring the TV to the front. My store helped me out when I did this with a large rolling toolbox. It was after 30 days so I had to repurchase it and return at the old price but the toolbox was so big and heavy they didn't make me roll it up to the checkout. They just took care of the transaction at the return/CS area. If your store still has it in stock it's worth a try.

They don't, I had something similar happen with a Roomba. I ended up buying another one at the sale price and returning one using the first receipt.

Dang! Bought this about 40 days ago. Anyone knows if they do price adjustments beyond 30 days in the store?

This is an insane deal, especially with the 7 years of warranty you get if you use the Costco visa. I have the 85" and it's absolutely stunning for the price point.
What he said.

How does this compare to the LG OLEDs? Not sure if it makes sense to get OLED vs this LED. Don't really care about size, honestly.

Thanks. That sucks .. looks like I'm hosed. Pain to return the old one.
Last time I had this come up the Costco person literally told me to go buy the new one at a discounted price and then walk it back to the return desk and return it with the old receipt.

Sorry I'm a TV noob. Can someone explain why this model is so sought after vs a cheaper (or about the same price) 75" 4K?

Different technology a comparable size Oled will cost you $3000 if not more....

If you've never used an Oled you will highly enjoy this tv, once you do use an Oled it's difficult to go back to led technology.

If you scroll down on the RTINGS review [rtings.com], you'll see this regarding a comparison to the LG CX:

"The LG CX OLED is better than the Sony X900H. The LG is an OLED TV that can produce perfect blacks, which the Sony can't. The LG has wider viewing angles, better reflection handling, and its near-instantaneous response time results in almost no motion blur. Also, the LG supports VRR to reduce screen tearing when gaming, although the Sony is expected to get it in a future firmware."

Night and day difference. I have the 65" version of this Sony tv and I was happy with it for the most part. Then decided to buy an LG CX 65" and holy crap. Absolutely stunning picture quality. Everything from watching 4k to playing games on the PS5/XSX look amazing. It'll be hard to ever go back to lcd/led TVs… if you have the money then definitely go with oled.

Thanks guys. I sincerely appreciate the response. I'm currently rocking a Vizio 50" 1080P LED TV that I've had since 2016 and I'm not sure it's worth upgrading yet. I may just wait till OLED gets cheaper in general and then make the plunge.
I'm also still using a 720P Plasma in my bedroom 😂

They did for me online. I bought a Vitamix set on Costco.com in February this year and in May they had a sale for $140 off. I applied for the price adjustment online and a few days later I got the refund.

Yes. For electronics they price adjust up to 90 days. If you bought it at the warehouse you need to do it at a warehouse that has them in stock. I did it today.

Does someone know if any of the Costco's in the Northern Virginia area has any in stock? I went to the Fairfax Costco yesterday to see if they had this exact television, but they only had the 85 inch version in stock.

They will. I had bought 65" version of this tv back in January it was on sale over a month later I got the price difference and tax back. No questions asked.
