It added BT. You can switch between 2.4 wireless or BT.

Be sure to set deal alerts for a soldering iron, solder, a solder sucker, and made in Japan Omron switches for when these inevitably develop double clicking issues outside of warranty. Source: I had an M570. The crappy Chinese Omron switches they put in them failed more than a year after purchasing. I had to solder a left click and a couple days later my right click also failed. Should have just done both at the same time, like replacing all the spark plugs in your car.

I didn't realize they made a successor to the M570. I'm on my second one because like another poster mentioned, after a year or so a capacitor gets loose and you need to resolder it. You can shake the mouse to get it working for a bit, but it'll need to be done eventually.

+1 double click issues on left click came up less than a year use.

For me they're built like tanks. I've had the M570 for like 6 years or what have you and have used it pretty hard and dropped it a ton. It's great! I had the wired version which also lasted a long while before I eventually broke the cord.

They're great for the couch and travel. I use the kensington expert trackball for my home setup.

Kensington trackball though is designed for a t-rex. You would destroy your wrist if you use it as is. You have to elevate the front of it with some sort of a wedge object to make it fit for human use...

I own one of these and, so far after five months, I'm happy with it. It is highly useful for me to be able to quickly switch from using this on my PC to iPad. Having a Bluetooth version of this product available was sorely needed.

However, the buyer beware issues brought up by others should be taken into account. Logitech has historically used poor quality switches on their wireless trackballs. I have owned several and every one has experienced a failure of the left click button eventually. They all have lasted long enough for me that I can say I'm satisfied, but your mileage will probably vary. If you are someone who is constantly clicking that left click button, you probably should get a different product.

Really surprised about the negative comments on this trackbal.l i myself have owned both the 570 without the bt and the new 575 and both have worked really well. I bought the 575 because if 2 reasons. It came in White and 2 it offerte bt whuch free up a usb port on my laptop. I actually cant ever recall a logitech product i have purchased ever failing. This price is slightly lower than what I paid at Bestbuy for mine. I have purchased their budget wireless keyboards all the way up to their 910 gaming series lineup of keyboards and g502 hero mica. Their lightsync speakers their headsets etc.. I believe in their products over most other brands.this trackball is a solid deal.

Been thinking upgrading my M570 to the Ergo Plus or something however I don't think either the Ergo Plus nor the M575 has the smooth scroll wheel like on my G900...
