Solid deal for the trackball folks. $40 on Amazon right now, they haven't price matched (yet). Free in-store/curbside pickup.

Meet ERGO M575—a wireless trackball with incredibly easy thumb control and is part of the Logitech Ergo series that promotes increased comfort, lower muscle strain, and improved, more natural posture. Forget about sliding around a mouse or moving your arm to move the cursor. The ergonomic sculpted shape of ERGO M575 minimizes movement and maximizes comfort while keeping your hand and arm relaxed.
Ergonomic comfort design, relaxed hand and arm: The comfortable, sculpted ergonomic shape of this mouse naturally fits your hand.

Smooth thumb control: Track precisely with great cursor control on any surface and easy thumb-operated trackball and adjust the cursor speed with Logitech Options software.
Optimal for tight workspaces: Because the trackball doesn't move, it's excellent for tight workspaces and busy desks and fits in seamlessly alongside your computer and keyboard or laptop.
Two ways to connect and multi-OS: Connect simply with Bluetooth or the USB receiver and never worry about drop-offs or lag up to a 10m (33 ft) range.
Sustainability: Uses FSC-certified paper for responsible packaging..
Up to 24 months of use from a single AA battery with the USB receiver.
You may even forget your Logitech wireless trackball uses batteries at all.
Convenient controls: Moving between documents or browsing your favorite websites is a breeze with the ergonomic mouse's large, easy-reach back and forward buttons and the precision scroll wheel.

Better - can be connected via Bluetooth so you don't have to use the little receiver (but still can if you prefer).

This is my all-time favorite mouse!
Is this better/worse/same than previous m570 model?
Just wanted to mention these help so much more than vertical mouses. I still felt pain in my wrist from using a vertical mouse but I got one of these years ago and it's so much better. It's different on how you use it and definitely not for gaming but ideal for normal use and office work

Thank you! Did that as well via Target chat. Used Target GC as well. Free shipping b/c of Red Card (vs OD no free ship unless $45 or more)

Looks like the m575 added Bluetooth and an improved max DPI of 2000 vs 1400 on the 570. The design was also changed to make it look more modern, but according to the linked review, not as ergonomic.

Bluetooth addition is nice. One less thing to connect or to take up a USB port

But still that click button issue right? That is still not improved?

been using some form of Logitech Trackball Marble / Trackball mouse since last millennium and never looked back at regular mice or track pads. Still have a "tailed rodent" on the desktop.
Only complaint about the dongle - it must be close to the mouse. When it gets obscured by a sit/stand desk structure, it sometimes does not work at its best (still does, just not ideal).

Personal preference, I'm not a fan of thumb-controlled trackballs. The thumb doesn't offer as fine motor control as the fore and middle fingers. I used a Logitech Marble Mouse for years until the left click was no longer clicky. Unfortunately, it seems Logitech no longer offers any new fingertip-actuated trackballs, only thumb. These days I use an Elecom Deft Pro and find it supremely comfortable.

If you're looking to break into using a trackball, then thumb bad. Hold out for a fingertip ball of some sort. Then again, I'm just one plebeian among thousands here. Not sure whether anyone else would agree....
