Got these last time they were on sale. The bamboo handle has a nice weight and texture, but the blades themselves are pretty bad. Somewhere between "Bic disposable" and "cheese grater". So many nicks and cuts.
I was unsuccessful in using the coupon for a 2nd separate order.

Thanks for the input. I was going to skip them, but will probably give them a shot now. The online ratings I read seemed mostly positive too. I wonder if they source from multiple locations that aren't all up to par or don't have the greatest quality control and sometimes bad batches go out. I kind of think that's what went on with Dorco back in the day ... I mostly had great luck with their blades, but I would see completely opposite opinions sometimes and once, I ended up with a batch that wasn't great myself.
I've been thinking I need to get more blades since I have probably one more Dorco blades left since I bought a couple starter sets on Black Friday 2019. I can be cheap.
I don't know why people are so obsessed with having to spend $2-3 per cartridge to the point that they fuk around with alternative razor companies like this. Like ooo you're saving $1/week. Trust me when I say, you're not going to get better than the top Gillette and Schick razors. You really do get what you pay for.
Should a little piece of plastic with metal strips be $2-3? No, but they just are. Really ask yourself what you're going to save at the end of the year, whether you go with one of these mid-grade razors or you go with another style of mid-grade razor, a safety razor. At least safety razors are kinda fun, these mid-grade disposables are just more of the mid-grade same. I really don't know why people keep trying.
If you really don't care, and you really do value a few dollars more than a better shave, then just get one of those value bags of disposables like Gillette Good News.
BTW this applies double to electric shavers. You could not make a worse shaving decision than to buy some cheap $59 electric shaver.

It's the brand I usually use. Nice 4 blade shave.
They get hot in the Summer and overheat. The alternative is put an ice bag and AC unit in the doghouse like UGA.
