How good is this for music compared to Elac UB5 or KEF Q350 or any other bookshelf speakers with a nice amp/DAC setup?
Different sound signatures. You are comparing apples and oranges. These are really big compared to bookshelves you mentioned. KEFs and ELACs sound really good, but when compared to towers with dual 8" drivers, towers will kill them. If you have space and don't mind to spend $399 for good music listening experience, go for it. You will not regret buying these speakers.
— I have klipsch, ELACs and KEFs. KEFs are my primary go-to music speakers though.

Thanks a lot bud! I am happy if they are good for music and if I get more out of it. I always had a doubt if the towers sound better for music. I've got it now. I will pull the trigger at this price. Bdw which KEF you have?

I have had KEF Q350, but I mostly do near field listening, so I picked KEF Q150 when the were on deal. KEF Q350 and Q150 sound almost identical at low volumes. I don't play very loud so Q150's suffice my requirements. With these Klipsch's with dual 8" drivers I am pretty sure you will not need sub.

Agree. I tried Q150 also they are good for near field listening. Bdw what amp/DAC you set it up? I am using Emotiva TA-100 and Bluesound Node 2i for streaming.
I bought these last year for $450. Great loud, clear, crisp sound. Yeah a little quirky with the idle shutoff but it really doesn't bother me much anymore. Super solid deal for $400. They accelerated my hearing loss by years!
In what way can I connect these to my TV. I currently have a Samsung powered set and have them connected to TV, via digital optical, for sound and use Bluetooth for music. They are okay, but would like a little more.
I am need of front tower speakers for my home theater. I have Denon AVR S750h. Would this be great fit to the existing sound system? Other speakers are mounted on the ceiling.

Apparently when playing through AUX the speakers shutoff after 10 min.
Bluetooth sound quality is spotty.
Also, difficult adding any other speakers such as a center speaker for a 5.1 setup etc. Volume resets each time they turn on/off

Owner and lover of the R51PM, you can disable that feature with the remote.

This can happen with Bluetooth devices. Make sure that you aren't connected with multiple inputs at the same time. Maybe this will solve the issue??
Will I be able to use these similarly?
