This is a great price. Good enough that I actually believe it's a mistake
Ac2200 on the router and 1200 on the point.
Wow. Dang you Slickdeals. I have been using the 1st gen tri pack since they came out and they have been amazing compared to all my other Belkin, Linksys, Netgear, etc routers I've used in the past. I wanted to switch to the 2nd gen but the price point was always crazy. This is a steal. Going to use my older routers now to extend into the yard for my wifi cameras

These any good? From your experience.
Definitely. My setup is in a small-ish apartment but wifi signals are hindered by walls. Added a point in one room and now every room has excellent connection.

Great deal, cheaper than the point by itself.

Thanks!!! I've been holding off until they dropped back to $199 so the extra savings is appreciated. Target just said my order is ready for pickup ☺️.

Seems like a super deal. I already have 2 google wifi pucks and was looking to add 3rd, but getting the newer system and using the old pucks as additional mesh points for this price is better.

I just completely replaced a mesh network that included a Nest Router and 4 legacy Google Wi-Fi points. One was set up as Ethernet backhaul. After months of troubleshooting random disconnections and issues with their own YouTube Music service, I decided to try something else. Granted, I'm only a week in, but a set of 3 TP-Link Deco M9 Plus units are doing the job better than Google's system ever did. A week without a random Wi-Fi or internet drop is more than I've had in over 18 months.

That said, this is a good price. If I didn't have the experience that I did, I'd buy them at this price. I should note that I'm heavily invested into the Google ecosystem and really wanted their mesh system to work, but they just don't. Unless something weird happens, I intend to dump all 5 units.

Also had a bad experience. Speed is inconsistent and the mesh network has been so-so. For example I have an access point maybe 10 to 15ft away from my bathroom and I get wifi signal but no internet. And we all know the bathroom is a high priority room for internet. Can't seem to figure out the issue.
I've had a similar experience. There is a problem with the mesh between the AP and Router. Been working with goodle support but they can't figure it out either.

I was just going to ask if you could mix the old and new ones together. Is this confirmed?

Dual-band. Tri-band is pretty meaningless for routers on the WiFi 5 standard (which this one is) unless you just have a ton of devices connected.

I have the same issue with my Linksys velop system. Figured I'll give this one a shot. Actually bought 2 sets to have 2 routers and 2 APs. We will see I guess.
