if you download GOG's Galaxy 2.0 platform you can use that one platform to play all of your Steam, Origin, Epic, GOG and I think even Ubisoft games. One ring — err.. platform— to play them all

Cheap prices subsidized by the Fortnite addicts...sign me up for the cheap games like steam used to have before they became a virtual monopoly.

Imagine all these Steam fanboys arguing for Microsoft's dominance in the late 90's and you'll understand how misguided their evangelism for the platform really is.

I've always eyed the dragon quest games but never jumped in.. anything major I'd be missing if this is the first one I play?

Nope! All dragon quests are independent story lines with completely different characters. I'm personally a little over halfway through the game and i highly recommend it.

Epic is trash. DQ11 is on sale on steam for $25 and I bought it there to avoid Epic and their terrible customer support.
