Basically the support falls on party lines, unless it can be worked into a reconciliation bill or they blow the filibuster it's not happening.
Edit: just for clarity, didn't want to get the politics argument going on this more just a realistic view of whether the credit will get added to make this a much better deal.

Btw, how viable is it for a decent amateur home mechanic to maintain one of these, who is capable of doing most repairs on traditional internal combustion engine vehicles?
The best thing about electricity is you can charge at home eliminating all this wasted land used for gas stations. We do need charging stations, but it would require only a fraction of the land used for gas/oil.

Their financing ended up being awful - essentially cancelling out much of the incentive if we had taken it to full term, but we just paid it off in less than a year to minimize the interest.

If they don't renew the 3k and 2k customer bonus cash it seems like it would have been a better deal before the costco 3k.
