Decent deal all things considering especially since it's not a delayed ship time. If it's the cooler the pictures show though you may want to upgrade to a nicer cooler or at least slap an undervolt on there to help out as the 11700 is pretty warm for a small down draft cooler

The cooler seems to be proprietory. It's a pain to take out the motherboard and install a third party cooler. HP doesn't sell their liquid cooler seperately last I chatted with them.

Do you know if its the same bolt on to the case the g5 used I've seen people fit after market coolers onto them with some extra screws. If so there could at least be some hope to slap a better cooler in there

I ordered this on Sunday for it to be here on Thursday and today, this morning, they cancelled my order. I called my bank, it wasn't on their end, I called Costco and they didn't have a reason. Just that I could reorder it now. Wtf

That 85°C was using a HP Omen 25L with a Ryzen 5 3600 so expect 90°C temperatures and constant thermal throttling with an i7-11700F during normal gameplay.

i had a 25L similar version of this, it's a proprietary board with a strange PSU.

Only thing salvageable would be the CPU itself, HDDs, SSDs RAM and GPU.

PSU, Case and Mobos only work with this system.

There was just a 3060 deal on here the other day for $900. This system is in no way worth $500 more.

Seems like a good deal if you need a PC now. If you can wait, hopefully more supply out there means we will see more deals for better optimized component combinations.
