Free is free, but I have low expectations on quality. We purchased a larger format (16x20 or something similar) photo print from Amazon and the colors were dull and the highlights were washed out.

I was not impressed and ended up not using the photo because it was so bad.

I just got mine. The picture quality is good, but the paper quality is pretty bad and really thin. Also, my pictures were in random order (order papers were randomly put in the middle). Also, the coating (probably) didn't dry so all the pictures were stuck together and I had to pull them apart one by one.
Overall, it is good picture quality and free. Great for personal use. But I wouldn't use it as a gift to anyone. I prefer Adorama, Costco, Sams Club for that

I don't either. Too much hassle and expense to maintain a color printer.

Just got my order, it's appears the print quality is in the lower end. Some pictures were blurry and colors different contrast is bad. It's as if the quality of the pictures was removed and then sent to the printer.

Got about 100 prints last month from both Amazon and my local CVS to compare side by side, and I was kinda shocked how terrible the Amazon prints were. Dark colors were muddy and hard to see, whites and bright colors were blown out. Plus they took almost a week to get to me where my local CVS let me pick up the prints in an hour.

Maybe I just got a bad batch, or my local(?) Amazon printer isn't as good as printers in other parts of the country, but I probably wouldn't order from them again.
You're not the only one....my photos looked "blown out" and the quality was not great. Def would not use them for hi-res or photos I would prominently display, but for "just to have", it serves it's purpose. I was honestly surprised tho with how low quality the actual photos were. 🤷🏽 ♂️

I have used mpix to print photos, the quality was excellent.
I can also vouch for mpix. Used them for quite some time since my local Sam's got rid of their photo lab.

Does the promo code have to be used all at once? In other words, can I print 10 photos first, then another 11 later?

Thanks for suggesting mpix. I was getting ready to order from shutterfly because i wasn't the picture date printed on the back and i didn't know anyone else that did this. Then i checked out mpix and they will print the first 20 characters of the filename on that back, which serves the purpose in looking for as I put the year and month in the filename. Because they're alot more expensive I'll probably just use them for my better photos though.

I received mine last week. The colors are terrible. Everything is dark.

My monitor is calibrated correctly with i1Display Pro Plus. Even the prints that were calibrated using the X-Rite Passport Photo came out wrong.

I don't print much but I've tried Walgreens when the free deals come around and the prints are also terrible. Everything is green for Walgreen prints.

The most accurate was Costco store prints because you could actually get the actual printer profile loaded into Lightroom.

Unfortunately, Costco has closed all their in-store Photo Center.

WARNING!! Ordered and received. Print quality was ok consid I used all kinds of low quality pics (FB pics suck on shutterfly) BUTTTT had to get full refund as it came soaked and damaged. Amazon SHIPS all AmazonPhoto items in CARDBOARD envelope ONLY. confirmed by photo cust. serv. dept. (Kentucky) delivered by UPS (porch delivery only) whom is not allowed by fed. law to put items in mailbox. They admitted it was dumb as hell and should be addressing soon. I used the free print coupon and was still given dollar refund as Amazon credit for use on anything Amazon sells. Try it. Wont hurt. Building nice 2021 album for little daughters.
