Good deal. Recently purchased 32gb[16×2] at 3200 for $180 at MC. So I just purchased these in less than 1 minute via PP. Will return the 32GB. Great deal.

There's no difference in performance, Because 64 gigs is a lot for Anything other than rendering. That being said having only 2 slots filled on the motherboard looks not as clean as all 4 slots populated
Yeah, I can't decide if I should do this or not. I've been running into ram issues cause I do much of my video editing (premiere and after effects) on my rig at home. Currently it has a 3080, 3700x and 32gb of ram.

Is this a good deal for ram itself or just a good deal for LED ram? I currently keep all the lights in my PC off cause it's in a studio apartment.

TBH I'd look in to faster RAM the newer Ryzen chips LOVE fast RAM. And if RGB isn't a thing for you I'd look into some of corsairs other offerings to save some money.

That's what I was thinking. TY. My current ram is 2x 16gb 3200 corsair vengeance sticks but they no longer make the models I have and reddit/ltt recommends not having different models.

It depends. Ryzen does benefit from dual rank memory (not the same as dual channel). Some memory modules are dual rank, some are only single. Technically you will get better performance if you use 4 single rank sticks (16x4) vs 2 (32x2).

But honestly the difference isn't big enough to go out of your way. I'd say the aesthetic of 4 vs 2 ram sticks is more important than whether you are running dual rank

it looks fine as two or four even for people with advanced ocd.

I'm currently building a new rig myself. Debating whether the 64gb PC25600 I bought for $380 (same brand and type) last week would be worth returning for 128gb PC24000 for $520. Seems like the extra memory would be worth the small speed difference loss.

In regards to the question about 2 vs 4 sticks of RAM-- it depends on your motherboard (Aesthetics aside). It can provide a near negligible uptick in performance. Look at the qvl for your specific mobo and see if the fastest times are recorded on two sticks or four. Most often, they run the traces such that 2 sticks will run faster. Again, it's mainly theoretical improvements vs observable real world better performance; however, I wanted to share my findings
