When it was announced back in January, the base model is priced at $999. I need the Legion 5 Pro base model. Where is it, lenovo?

If portability is important, then nothing comes even remotely close to the G14. For pure performance, Legion 5 Pro with upgraded RAM. The 16:10 aspect ratio is great in person and a game changer if you do a lot of office work.
Wouldn't the G15 be closer to the equivalent to this? Weighs a good chunk less and has half the SSD though I don't know how components compare (it does have a stronger processor I believe R9-5900HS)

Plastic shell? For close to 2 grand that's asking alot

Lid and bottom are aluminum, keyboard deck is hard plastic. This laptop is pretty heavy with good build quality. I onwed it for a month now, (3060 version)

I think so. I originally bought a MacBook Pro and loved it but ran into too many games, apps, and software it didn't play well with. Plus can't ran boot camp. Switched to the G14 and didn't miss a step. Only glaring difference is the screen quality and fan noise/heat. But the speaker on the G14 is so nice you don't notice it

Is it ever going to be this price again? I checked again today and the Lenovo site looks overhauled and now to build it similar to the specs here it is over $2k
