I was cutting wood tonight and the saw cut through the log and I hit my foot. It cut through my boot. I was wearing a pair of these socks and after taking off my boot I found that the blade had cut through the sock too. However my foot only had a tiny nick. Whew. They don't state that they protect from chainsaw blades but it did in my case. 😂.

How warm are these? Any people that have used them long-term? How are they for wide feet?

I really like these, but they don't really hold up. They typically rip where the lower part is stiched to the leg(at least for myself) get holes wore in the bottom as well.

They do make wearing work boots better, though. Just don't last, but they're cheap

Would Cotton Hill have worn these before he died? Since he didn't have shins they would have gone all the way up.

How well do these protect your shins from Dickies while walking?

These have been this price for about a month and were posted on here, I bought 2 orders a couple of weeks apart. I bought these mainly for Deadlifts to protect my shins and for that they are GREAT! I also chopped up a pair that I use under my elbow sleeves (sweat control) and they work fine. Gave a pair to my brother for his walking and varicose vein support..

My advise buy if you can figure out a need. .

I use them to protect my shins while doing heavy Deadlifts and I love them, these should work well for you.

I may get these and cut them at the ankle and wear them just from my knee to ankle when using my weed eater. I end up with nicks and sore areas from the kick of the grass being cut!
