I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

If you got separated 12 years ago but divorced like 8 years ago can you now get married again and enjoy marriage? If you know the answer to this question, you have your answer.
Congrats! Can you share your credit profile such as FICO, average of credit history, and credit utilization? I just wanted to make sure I am closed to your profile in order to get approved rather than wasting a hard pull.

Submitted the application and got the instant approval with a limit of $22k. My auto insurance carrier said I can pay for a year in advance using the card, so that will be a good chunk of the $4k. Hopefully it works out for me. I already have a Freedom card, so maybe that is why I got the quick approval.
a) You don't have an existing Sapphire card.
b) It has been at least 48 months since you last received a sign on bonus from any Sapphire card
i signed up for the Sapphire reserve in April 2017; it was also a 100k bonus back then. not sure if that means the sign on bonus started from that month; im pretty sure i hit $4k on my first billing, so maybe May 2017. if so its more than 48 months.

the 48 month clock starts from the date when the bonus hit your chase account.
I lost track on when I received the sign up bonus last time. If I don't meet the 48-month and not eligible for the bonus, will Chase just deny my application out right? I hate to be approved of the card now and not getting the bonus after meeting the spend.
ymmv but I applied in November thinking CSP only had a 36 month rule. They pulled my credit but denied me and when i called and ask why they told me it's because i received a bonus within the last 48 months. I was able to open Freedom Flex instead so i won't waste my hard pull. You can send a secure message to confirm when you got your Sapphire Bonus and they can tell you the exact date. Just have your old 16 digit Sapphire card number on hand once they ask you. That's what i did last week before i applied for the 80k CSP offer.
OK, here's how you *might* be able to figure out when you last got the bonus on a Sapphire card you had a while back:
Call the Customer Service for credit cards (I called 800-035-9935 . Looks like Sapphire Reserve card # is 800-436-7970 , might work same/better)
They cannot see any closed cards after sometime in your profile, and even with your SS# etc I didn't get anywhere with the rep. Then after escalating to a supervisor, with the last 4 of the closed cards, she was able to look for the statements, and was able to figure out I got my Reserve bonus in Nov 2016 (opened Sep 16) and Preferred bonus in Jan 2017. (opened Oct 16)
So, get your last 4 of your CC Numbers, and call and find a good rep, or escalate to a supervisor to look for statements of the closed cards.. Avoid getting surprised by the 48 month rule..
BTW, Chase sends a welcome email when account is approved with the last 4 digits, so if you have the email account, search for "chase sapphire" . That's how I found my card#s

The rep on the phone told me they'll only honor matching if I get a physical mailer with 100k bonus within 90 days.
Chase never sends me mailers. it's all digital. That's how I got the 80k bonus in the first place.
Google chase customer service for it. They will overnight it, if they already generated a card number they will process as if you lost the card.
Nope they wont... I called twice and both times they said no. Strictly enforced nowadays š”

I was able to add it to my gpay app and use it the same day. Just call before making large purchases to make sure it doesn't get automatically locked.
Same way Chase used to match sign-up bonuses within 90 days.
