I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Does anyone know when this expires? I looked at the website and search this thread but do not see anyone mentioning it.
No expire date yet, but you can assume this will run for a few months or even till the end of the year. With everyone going out and traveling now, Chase will want all those discretionary spending. $$$$
Not sure if this was asked before. My spouse had a chase sapphire preferred card (as authorized user) and we upgraded it to reserve. Does it matter for authorized users ?

Applied less than a month ago when it was the 80K offer. Anyone know if it's worth getting ahold of CSR to see if they would match?
I just called and was told no. The guy said that since I haven't received the sign-up bonus yet, I could cancel and reapply for the higher bonus if I wanted to. I'm not sure that's worth it given the 5/24 Rule, but I suppose it might make sense for someone.
If I am approved, does that mean I am qualified for the bonus? I had this card years ago, but I don't remember when I last had it.
Update: this is listed on the application page. So I guess you would not have been approved if not qualifying for the bonus.
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products.
I am not sure how it work with Chase, but I once tried to use a CapitalOne promo (it was a bonus for a bank account, but I assume the same logic applies) and only found out that I did not qualify after I fulfilled all other requirements.
Does that mean i can apply now using the referral and in two weeks it will know to make it a 100k bonus; or to wait two weeks to apply using the referral till their system recognizes that it should be 100k bonus?
You need to wait. If you use the referral, the referee will only get the one that is currently in the link (80K)

All useless info. What's needed is when the prior sign on bonus posted to your account.
Separately, Credit Karma is great; just not for the purpose you described.
Your prior signup bonus gotta have been posted to your account before it was closed, no? So if your account is closed more than 4 years ago, you'll eligible for the signup bonus this time.
