I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Congrats! 2 weeks generally means you are approved. If it is 7~10 days then you are denied.

Showed pre-approved on my account and after doing the APP while signed in got the message for a two week wait on a decision. WTF? Was trying to book flights and Macbook purchases for next week. So annoying.
As I learned from my banker, there is nothing extra you need to do in order to get the additional 20K points. It will be automatic and will be coming in two transactions, 80K + 20K, after the minimum spending requirement is met. In addition, currently they are still using the application with 80K + annual fee waive + 50 grocery credit. There is only one version of application at branches. So you will be getting your fee waived and the $50 grocery credit.

Thank you.
Here is how mine went down. I think I still screwed up.
I walk in and as expected, the rep had no idea. She pulls up my account and only sees 80K. She says she will verify and then only apply. BUT. She did not do anything. She made me sign the application and I under-reported my income to keep my credit limit low. I only reported $90K gross. I was instantly approved for a $17K credit line and then she called the support "back office". They confirmed that the 20K extra points should be automatic. She also had them expedite my card (leaving on Wednesday for a trip) and said I should be getting my card in 1 to 2 business days. SO. Hopefully, Tuesday.
Here is why I say I screwed up. I have no idea if they waived the $95 or if I will get the $50 grocery credit.
What do I have to do to verify the $95 is waived and I will get the $50 and how do I get the $50? Is it automatic once I charge $50 or more at the grocery store?
At the branch today, for some odd reason. The branch can't apply the card for me and told me i need to call Chase Sapphire. Spent 2 hours on the phone and got no where after explaining branch wasn't able to apply.. now I'm in a limp mode not knowing what to do even after talking to Supervisor
Did the branch tell you the reason? Was your application submitted at the branch?

The reserve has $550 fee. Is that waived in the branch too? What's the big deal with that high a fee?
Reserve fee is not waived.
Benefits like credits for doordash, $300 travel credit (currently works on groceries), global entry/tsa precheck, better cashback rates, etc...
Currently, the pay yourself back rate is 1.5x on the Reserve vs 1.25x on the CSP, which means 100k points on the Reserve is worth $1500 instead of $1250 on the CSP.

We was going thru the process on the application. For some reason partially into the application, there was a option to select which card and sapphire wasn't on the list. they told me to contact sapphire by phone and nothing she was able to do
If your application wasn't submitted, try another branch. Calling Chase wouldn't get you to anywhere coz you need to have your application submitted by a local branch in order to get all those 100K points + fee waived + $50 grocery credit.

Called 3 branch in Bay Area.. they 2 branch confirm they have the same problem with several others applicants.. hmmm.. wish i can get it done since I have a Hawaii and Las Vegas trip to book
how you guys convinced the branch to do 100k pts versus supposedly 80k ?
Went to Chase Bank in SF Bay Area, the banker confirmed with 100K points (after $4000 spending) + $50 gc credit, no fee 1st year. And can asked for expedited shipping.
Nice. About to spend $8k on first real solid gold jewelries. This would be a good opportunity to save some $$$. I wonder if I am qualified since I signed it for the Chase Freedom Ultimate a year ago.
Also, I wonder if I should split my credit card payments into two and apply for a different card offer with signup bonus to increase rewards.

Had the CSP card for 4 years, can I take up on this offer or no since I already had the card?
