I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

anyone in CA confirmed the branch deal with no AF and $50 grocery credit? my wife has pre-approval in her account for 100k but no AF waiver and no grocery credit.
Can confirm in WA (Seattle) that the branch deal comes with first year AF waived, $50 grocery credit and 100k bonus points. The points will be credited to your account in two batches: $80k and then $20k once the $4k spending threshold is met in the first 90 days. NOTE: in your approval packet it will still show as 80k points but Chase is well aware of this and will be crediting client's accounts with 100k points.
Edited: I saw a couple questions about how the $50 grocery credit is earned. This will be rewarded in bonus points once you spend $50 at a grocery store e.g. Wegman's, Safeway or Wholefoods (has to be categorized as grocery store per: NAICS & SIC code identification). A store like Walmart or Target would not fall under this category.
I got my card in the mail today and the rate and fees sheet says first yr free, but nothing about the grocery credit. By when do you have to spend the $50? With freedom Q3 being grocery stores, I'd rather wait.
I have a CSR card which I got bonus more than 4 years back. I am planning to downgrade it to a Freedom Unlimited card and apply for the CSP card.
How long do I have to wait after downgrading the CSR to Freedom card so that things doesn't get messed up?
You can add to digital wallet in a day or two. The option becomes available not immediately.

Thanks. I'm wondering if the fact that I got it on Saturday means it'll be slower.

Please excuse my ignorance. Everyone talks about the digital wallet and the card appears in the app's digital wallet. How do I set that up. Thanks.

Download the chase app on your phone, click the card, scroll down to "digital wallets"

Got it. Thanks.
Well, for what it's worth, the "wallet" feature as "early access" seems kind of useless. It finally worked (card approved on Saturday) Monday afternoon and I was able to add it to my Google wallet via the Chase app. Yay?
However, when I actually try to use the wallet to add a new payment method on Amazon, the new card isn't there (though other cards are). The whole process seems a little cludgy.

You can add it to PayPal wallet too which has broader adoption by merchants than G pay. But since Amazon takes neither of these digital wallets, it's useless for them.

Thank you.
The weird thing is that you can *see* the Gpay wallet (btw, why are there two Gpay apps?) in the "add a credit card" section of Amazon, but it doesn't include all my Gpay cards -- only the ones I've used on Amazon before.

Went to a branch in Ca and that's the deal I was given

The only one that it let me add it to was Apple Pay which was useless as well.
I have all 3 major credit agencies with a freeze on my info. I already have a chase freedom card. Does anyone know which credit bureau chase used for this card? Already having an account, will a seperate credit check be run? I appreciate feedback from anyone with experience (or knows where the answer is in this monster thread)
Whenever you apply for a new credit, 99.9% your credit report will be pulled. I've had 3 credit applications with Chase for the past 12 months, they always pulled Experian on me.

I asked for expedite shipping and she had no issue doing it as well.
