I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Downgraded CS to CFU a couple weeks ago. Went to branch today and no offer showed up on profile. Mentioned to (clearly new) employee to open new profile. Employee went to manager to ask and came back saying mgr says I have to wait 6mos from downgrade to be eligible.
Did they do away with the tracker that shows how close you are to fulfilling the bonus?
Applied in branch when the sign up bonus was 80k points, online account tracker shows how much more spending from getting the 80k bonus points. Wife applied online after the bonus went up to 100k points. No tracker in her online account even after activation and using the card. However, the tracker does appear in Chase mobile app showing how close to the 100k points. Curious if it's because Chase hasn't gotten around to update the tracker feature for online account for the 100k offer?

This is one of those features they probably regret rolling out. You guys are inundating them with questions for something that is pointless and useless. They are spending more time answering questions on this tracker than they spent developing it. It's a tool to help you but if it doesnt work, who cares. Use your calculator. If I was a supervisor at chase IT, I'd immediately rollout a retraction of the tracker to prevent more ongoing questions. SDers have been doing these deals for decades and this is the first time I've seen such a tracker and the chaos that it is causing. In the past, you just tallied your own transactions and waited for the bonus to post. Not worth the headache from you guys if I was Chase.

Pretty dramatic response. I didn't read the 120 plus pages but if a couple people asking about a tracker gets the Chase IT departments undies in a twist they probably need to find some new web developers.

I got approved today in branch. The offer showed 80k points on the guy's screen. He told me it is not updated yet. It is 100k . And he also showtime how to redeem points as cash , gift card can be counted in $4k .
Is there a way to see what CCs you've opened in the last 24 months?
Also, will the rejection letter we receive have any info? DH just got denied. Only reason I can think is maybe exceeing the 5/24 rule, but I'm not really sure. Our credit score is 830+

Also got approved at the branch today. I was told that 80k will be deposited during first monthly cycle after spending $4k and the remaining 20k - during the next monthly cycle. Was also told that $50 grocery allowance and first year fee waver is a go. The manager seems to be well aware of this offer.

You should track your financial accounts. However, if you haven't done so, then you'll just have to do it the hard way. Check your credit history and see which credit cards have recently been opened. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
As to why you were denied, I suggest you call Chase's reconsideration line and ask them that question. They've usually had a straight answer for me, whenever I've asked. YMMV. (888) 270-2127
How long people in SD waited after converting their current csp card to freedom and then applying or new csp. Supervisor on chase csr told me to wait untill product change shows up online. It now showing freedom in 2 days. Is it safe to apply now online.?
