I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Does anyone know if you upgrade to reserve, when and what will they charge you? I downgraded to get on this signup bonus and wanted to get back to reserve as soon as I get and reach the SUB. so was wondering if Chase would just end up doing 550-95 or what that looks like
You're stuck with the CSP for a year due to finance laws. Then you can upgrade back to CSR so the annual fees won't really overlap. If you swap mid-year or something (like 18 months from now), then some type of proration credit happens.

Does anyone know about how long it takes to hear something from them? I applied last Saturday and got the "we need more time to decide" message (or something like that). I see the hard pull on my credit report but no new accounts reported...

Google "chase refer a friend" to find website -- generate your referral link and give it to the person that wants to apply

Dilemma: I applied online but forgot to remove credit lock. So fine, I can remove the lock and they can run my credit. I just found out about the added benefits of applying in person in branch (waived fee, etc). They are allowing me to cancel the online application if I want, but my record will show that I applied.

Does the fact that I already opened an application mean that if I then go apply in branch, will I not qualify for the promotion?

Thanks for clarifying. Here is another question. Which credit bureau does Chase acess? Or, will I have to unlock my report at all the 3 major credit agencies?
I got a notice from Experian after applying.

Husband opened a CSP in March 2017 and received the 50k bonus points and possible some bonus points later for adding me as an AU. He downgraded it to a non-fee Sapphire card in Feb this year.

I just opened mine yesterday and want to refer him by July 17 (supposedly the end date of this promotion) but have two questions:
- A Chase representative over the phone told me today any previous CSP card had to be closed 48 months ago at least to qualify for this offer. He even said a new application would be automatically declined if this condition is not satisfied. He had a strong Indian accent and the information is inconsistent from what I knew from this site, so just want to confirm he was wrong.
- Suppose he was wrong and my husband only needs to have his previous CSP opening bonus received more than 48 months ago, does he have to close his non-fee Sapphire card before applying for a new CSP? If so, is there a period of time required between the closing and the new application?

If possible, go to branch and explain the situation.

It's probably better to apply from branch. If there's an issue, they can talk to their expert and resolve the issue. You either get all the perks applying in branch, or just 100K form online application that you originally planned to.

I'm happy to apply in branch. What I'm asking is, does the initial online application (which I can cancel) mean that the 'second' in branch application not eligible for the 100,000 (re the 48 month thing)?

If the online application went through, you won't be able to apply in branch. You can't have two CSP cards at the same time, if I'm not mistaken.

Define go through. It's held up because I didn't unfreeze my credit.

Can't have any Sapphire card currently (CS/CSP/CSR) and if he cancels the card then he might have to wait a month to apply -- have him convert the card to any Freedom card then wait a week before applying for new CSP with your link

Might also want to consider lowering credit limit on existing card(s) if he has too much credit with Chase -- makes it easier to get auto approved for new card
