I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

In in-branch promo is still going on. My wife applied today in branch - 100,000 points, $50 grocery credit and waived 1st year fee. You need to ask for the 100,000 points and they should be able to process.
Applied like 2 weeks ago told me they need to check on some stuff and they will contact me , finally got a letter to call fraud number , no joke 2 hours on the line to get someone to pick up , in the end got approved.
I applied this card yesterday at the bank and I can confirm that they still have the promo for 100k, $50 grocery credit and waive $95 for a year. However, I didn't get approved at that time.
Today, I checked that I got a new account on my chase online banking. I have chase freedom unlimited (12k CL) and amazon prime card ($6800 CL).
Now, I noticed that my freedom unlimited credit limit was deducted from 12k to 7k. And my sapphire credit limit is 5k. So I called customer service if thats the case. They cant explain it yet but I suspect that they deducted my freedom unlimited credit limit to get approved on my chase sapphire.
Is there anyone on the same boat as me? I asked customer rep if thats their practice they said no. I have no checking account with them.
Moving credit line from one to another is a common practice of approving a new card. If you accept it, do nothing. If you refuse it, call Chase to move $5K credit line back to your Unlimited. Case closed.

Thank you. I just want to know if thats common practice which is odd for me. At least I got approved and that is all that matters.
Congrats! This is a common practice when the creditor does not want to extend a new credit to you. Then they would move a portion of credit line from one card to the new card. Since CSP is a Visa Signature card, the minimum credit limit is $5K. You will qualify for all the sign-up bonus though if the minimum spend is met.

Most likely this is a Summer Special that may end in a couple of months or sooner, so if interested in this card offer apply asap.
Especially if you can apply at a Chase branch where they have the promo for 100k reward points, $50 grocery credit, and they waive the $95 for the first year.

Most likely in August. That's also when the new (rumored) benefit changes are likely to come.
