I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I'm having a family member refer me but it doesn't mention anything about an extra 20k points. Should the referral page with application mention 100k+20k bonus for referral?

Wondering this as well
As the person getting the new card, you don't get anything extra. Just the 100k. The family member, in this case, gets 20k added to their account (without any extra notifications, afaik) after you use your card.
CSR: 300K pts x 1.5 = 450K pts = $4500 value
CSP: (20K referral pts + 100K SUB pts + 300K pts) x 1.25 = 525K pts = $5,250 value
You are getting $750 more if replacing CSR with CSP. In addition, say you are reaching your anniversary of CSR soon and need to pay $550 AF for the coming year, then $550 should be factored into the math as well. In such case getting CSP would give you $1300 more value ($750 + $550 = $1300).
Sorry, by math I meant the "plan" to downgrade CSR and open CSP. I didn't want to overlook something and lose points or generally goof it up
Appreciate the actual math breakdown. I agree. And is the main reason for my switch!

That would be correct with one exception. Wife's card (used my referral link) has 4 transactions posted already. No 20K points in my account yet.
So I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, just one in my name. Would my wife be eligible for this? I ask because it states "This product is available to you if you do not have any Sapphire card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for any Sapphire card in the past 48 months." She has never had any of the Sapphire cards.

Sign in your Ultimate Rewards account, click Your Dashboard, down below you will see the transaction that met the $4000 spend threshold. On the right of that transaction under "points earned" it should show 100K points plus 1x points of the dollar amount of the transaction.
Edit: Screen print attached
So my screen only shows the 80K bonus, not 100k, for the purchase that went over the $4k spend requirement. I'm wondering if there's something else I have to do like download the Chase app? If I recall correctly someone in this thread earlier said that their 20k bonus didn't appear until they used the Chase mobile app. My wife definitely applied and was approved for $21k in branch. I may have to call Chase about this if I don't see the bonus appear soon and I don't want to do a $50 spend on groceries without getting the bonus for it.
Any suggestions on how to get the extra 20k points if you signed up for the 80k card?
Yes. Forget them. You won't get them if you did not sign up while the 100K offer was on. Read the earlier parts of this thread. You are not alone, there are hundreds who have already asked your question and not one has gotten the extra 20K.
You certainly can try to download the app and see but I doubt it makes a difference. If you do not see 100K pts after you met $4K spend threshold, there may be an issue. Wait for your next statement and see how many points actually post to your account. Maybe some early birds require Chase to manually post the extra 20K points by the billing cycle, or maybe the UR system worked differently for different accounts. We will have no definite answer until receiving the next statement. Since your applied within the 100K promotional period in branch, one phone call to Chase can easily rectify the issue.

So Chase is open on the East Coast now. Can anyone confirm what the in branch offer is today?
Can confirm. Went to a branch in Atlanta, opened card. 100,000 points and first year annual fee waived. This was on the confirmation screen when I finished applying with the asst branch manager. The manager was surprised to see the $100 annual fee waiver, must've updated overnight as has been described in previous posts. No $50 grocery credit was mentioned or shown on the screen with the rest of the incentives. Took about 20 minutes in and out, though the bank was pretty empty when I arrived. I am very satisfied with havering been able to save the $100 annual fee by walking into a branch.
edit: applied in branch at Monday July 19 at 9:15 AM EST
Thanks for the DP. The surprised manager's name gotta be Sleepy Joe since the AF has been waived for more than 3 months when signing up in branch even before this 100K offer.

Which branch in Atlanta did you go to? I went to the Brookhaven location and the Doraville location last week but may try this week to see if my product change has cleared from my account.

Online and in branch offer were different before 17th Jun, branch offer was 20k less than the online offer so only 80k though one year fees was waived off which was $95 (almost equalto 10k points), after 17th Jun they matched branch offer as online offer, so if opened ur card in branch before 17th you will only get 80k points. Though you can try to talk to their representative to see if they can adjust the point.
