I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

* Please note that if you choose the Pay Yourself Back option to redeem points, be careful to only choose purchases made after you met the minimum spend limit. That's to avoid creating a situation where you disqualify yourself from the bonus you just received. All purchases redeemed via the Pay Yourself Back option are ineligible for meeting the minimum spend limit.
What are the chances I get accepted with 708 score, 4 months average length open, 50k income?
Insufficient information to put together a customer profile on you.
Even with more information, there are insufficient data points about customers in your situation (average 4 months account history) to form a reliable opinion.
All I can say is that your credit score and income levels are certainly not disqualifiers.
As to your average credit history, 4 months is far below average. While the credit bureaus don't place a high priority on average credit history, I'm not sure if Chase evaluates potential customers in a similar light. (If I were them, the 4 months would be a red flag and I would closely scrutinize your application for any other potential credit risks.)
I got an email and it's 100K invitation and 20K as bonus.
Me too. I think it's now better to use this referral method rather than going to a branch and apply there is you know someone that wants to get in this deal. You can split the referral points between the two.

I absolutely hate people who follow this guy. Before he was even popular he would steal REAL travel advisors work and post it as his.
Easy one for me, we were just buying a new car, so used the 4k down payment on the card, then just paid it off with the money I was planning on using. Perfect timing.
does anyone know how long to wait to apply online after the downgrade? I heard at least 7 days to apply in the branch but not sure if it's the same for applying online. thx!

I downgraded from CSR on Sunday and applied successfully online on Thursday morning.

Where do I find the restriction that "All purchases redeemed via the Pay Yourself Back option are ineligible for meeting the minimum spend limit"? TIA

However, there are more lucrative options for those who happen to be in position to take advantage of them.

Can I cancel my brand new Sapphire Preferred from last month and reapply and get the 100K points?
