I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Hello, on my chase app, it used to say spend 4000 to get 100,000 bonus points, but now it says spend 4000 to get 80,000 bonus points. Does everyone else's app say that too?
If you applied in the 80K + 20K period (before July 17 ish), then the tracker never said 100K. Both mine and my wife's accounts' tracker shows the correct thing. I applied for the wife card online. The tracker correctly is showing 100K. In mine, it is still only showing 80K like it always did.

Chase is creating a confusion by not updating the offered points on the summary page, but you will be receiving 100K points after the $4K spend is met.

So my Chase app says I have 80k points pending (after spending 4k). Why doesn't it show the full 100k points pending?

Is it possible to refer my wife for the extra points and also have her sign up in a branch to get the fee waived? Or does she have to sign up from the link that gets sent in the referral email?

Have to pick one: online referral link or go in branch
I got Sapphire Reserve card for over 4 years. If I cancel it now, how long should I wait to apply this one? If I down grade to chase freedom, how long should I wait. Which way is faster? Thanks in advance for your help.
Downgrade is a better approach because you will be keeping the account's age of credit and the credit limit. It would also be reflected on Chase platform sooner than canceling the card. Generally speaking, downgrade takes 5 to 7 days, while canceling would take up to 30 days.

It's the same old questions over and over and over again. Why don't you guys just answer these in the wiki? SD threads are so inefficient. This is why information isnt easily shared because threads are buried in repeated questions over and over again. No one wants to read through 1000 pages so they just ask the specific question they want even though it's been answered a thousand times. This page alone asks can I do in branch and referral? Can I share my referral code? Should I cancel or downgrade? The tracker doesn't show 100k. Omg, these are the most basic questions answered a hundred times!!!!!! Why do you keep answering them??
Do you guys remember the user didYOUsearch? He was even grumpier than me lol. He would chastise you if you asked a repeated question.

This has literally been posted a zillion times. Unreal
I tried reading through quite a few of the recent threads but did not see this so apologies in advance if needed.
I just downgraded my CSR to Chase Freedom Ultimate. Almost immediately (within 1 hour of the phone call) the card was auto renamed in my Chase Portal, Ultimate Rewards and Samsung Pay as Chase Freedom Card and my point balance has transferred over to the freedom card.
Do I still need to wait 5-7 days before applying to the CSP or does the above mean that my transfer is complete?
