I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I print and carry this cheat sheet in my wallet at all times (see image). Unless the checkout line is long, I don't even head there until I've referenced it. I've been mad as a hornet at myself one too many times for using the wrong card. https://i.imgur.com/Cn2ZOU0.png
Is there any way to get the 50.00 hotel credit if I just got this card a month ago (and therefore after the recent change)?

No.
Actually, I think the Hotel Credit is a yearly benefit, kind of like the travel benefit on the Reserve card. I've had this card for about 6 weeks -- I just got an email talking about new benefits, one of which was the hotel thing.
"$50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit" means the statement credit that is automatically applied to your account annually on hotel accommodation purchases booked using your card through the Ultimate Rewards program, up to an annual maximum accumulation of $50. "Annually" means the year beginning with your account open date through the first statement date after your account open date anniversary, and the 12 monthly billing cycles after that each year."
I *think* that means we can use this credit *this year* and will be eligible for others after each anniversary date. It's possible they're saying we aren't eligible for the hotel credit until next anniversary, but I don't read it that way.

$50 statement credit only once until the date stated if you book a hotel through Chase.

Negative. I just logged into my account, I got card 5/27/21 and it says I can access the benefit AFTER anniversary date 5/27/2022, lol. This is prob for new people who sign up after 8/16?!
Downgrade your CSP to Unlimited. The card number will remain the same since both are Visa. Then product change your other Unlimited to Flex. Case closed.

Unfortunately we've got some reoccurring charges and we can't change the number right now so that rules out the Flex (MC). I'll look into converting that to a Flex in a couple months when we can clear out all the charges.

Yeah I think everyone has the same wording. If you got your card before the change, then you can't use it until after the 2022 anniversary date. New card members after the change should get it immediately.
As far as the actual benefit goes, it's only for hotels booked through the Chase travel portal, which means you may potentially lose out on elite perks/points from being a member of some hotel group and the Chase portal doesn't always have the best price given that. But some people may still find it useful for a night.
Similar thing with the 10% annual bonus. It only applies to spend after August 15, 2021 and will hit probably near August 2022 for those points.

I'd be darned. My email looks like I get the benefit but the Ultimate Rewards section does indeed say 22. May be its a mistake in the Chase system?
Here's what's in the email.

Any hotel accommodation purchases booked using your card through the Ultimate Rewards program that qualify for the $50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit, won't earn points. So this is my plan.
I have two chase cards CSR and United Quest.
Once downgrade from CSR to Unlimited do my points automatically move to the Unlimited card? or once downgraded the points will stay put in the UR portal.
Since both CSR and CFU are within the Ultimate Rewards family, you will still keep your points after a product change from one to another. Your points will be under the new Unlimited account after the product change is complete. Always confirm this with rep when you call Chase to request the product change. Also consider below before the downgrade.
1. Check if you have any purchases in the past 90 days on your CSR categorized as grocery, home improvement, restaurant (including takeout), charity, and Lyft. If you do, then use Chase Pay Yourself Back option to get statement credit with 1.5x redemption value.
2. Use up all the other perks of CSR if possible.
3. Call Chase for a product change and request a prorated refund of the annual fee of the CSR.

According to the Doctor of Credit:
Regarding the $50 Annual Credit on hotel stays purchased through Ultimate Rewards: new cardmembers will start earning towards the credit immediately and existing cardmembers will start earning after their next account anniversary.

(Note: 20K goes to the person making the referral, not the person signing up for the card.)
I have CSP, how/where to get referral link?
Is $95 activation fee means annual fee waived? For 1yr or more? And what did you say or how did you do?
