I got this deal for $30 last year. The case and PSU are great. My goal was to build the cheapest good computer. Here was my breakdown
This Case and PSU: $30
Aliexpress X79 motherboard - $50
Aliexpress Xeon E5-2650 V2 processor - $40
CPU Fan - $15
Memory 8GB - $15
500GB NVME - $50
Pretty good computer for $200
I've used a bunch of these cases and never had problems with them. The case itself is very nice if you don't need any lights or windows. Nice plastic quality, a lot of vents on the front panel, all open top, rear fan (not a bad fan), good space behind mobo tray for cabling. A bit hard to hide extra cables if you install HDD, but an easy build otherwise.
PSU is completely adequate for most builds that you will have in this case.
I usually used up to GTX 1650 cards in these and no issues so far. PSU is quiet too. Not many leads but I prefer m.2 SSD and don't use any at all.
It's 80+ aluminum rated.

One of my favorite cases at any price point. Compact, efficient design with excellent airflow and exactly enough space for everything you need in a modern build.

Is this a good case for the HP pavilion gaming pc?

If you're asking whether the parts from an HP Pavilion desktop could be transferred to this case, the answer is no (at least not without some serious mods to the case, since HP's motherboards tend to be proprietary and thus made to fit only their original cases)

I've done it and had no problems. Everything lined up.
You jest, but aluminum used to be a precious metal more expensive than platinum before they figured out how to get it out of different kinds of ore. The Tower of London's fabled Crown Jewels used to include stuff made out of aluminum.
So did they replace it with a more precious metal??
Just a note to anyone reading this who may not have experience building PCs, this power supply may not be powerful enough for your build and you should double check your requirements before buying this. It is dangerous to mismatch PSUs

I can't speak to all but I did a reverse build into this https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03779325 and it went fine. I had make a cut out for the Power supply because this unit came with an external brick type. Nice little case. I wish I could find another.
We've used different Rosewill cases with excellent results for years. Our last purchase was the $19.99 SRM-01B w/pre-installed 450W psu early in 2019. The PS was still working fine when I switched it out in favor of an EVGA 600. Sure things were tight for cable mgmt, but definitely doable. Compact(ish) and minimalistic, price/performance, exactly what I was looking for.
You have me interested.. What graphics card are you using?
I used an old GTX mini from 3-4 years ago that I pulled out from my old computer. I should have mentioned this bc the Xeon doesn't have onboard graphics. I am sure you can get a cheap card for very little though.

Thank you. We're you able to connect the usb ports on the motherboard to the front panel of this case?
Yes. USB, pin outs, audio, etc. All went fine.
