I got this deal for $30 last year. The case and PSU are great. My goal was to build the cheapest good computer. Here was my breakdown

This Case and PSU: $30
Aliexpress X79 motherboard - $50
Aliexpress Xeon E5-2650 V2 processor - $40
CPU Fan - $15
Memory 8GB - $15
500GB NVME - $50

Pretty good computer for $200
I've used a bunch of these cases and never had problems with them. The case itself is very nice if you don't need any lights or windows. Nice plastic quality, a lot of vents on the front panel, all open top, rear fan (not a bad fan), good space behind mobo tray for cabling. A bit hard to hide extra cables if you install HDD, but an easy build otherwise.
PSU is completely adequate for most builds that you will have in this case.
I usually used up to GTX 1650 cards in these and no issues so far. PSU is quiet too. Not many leads but I prefer m.2 SSD and don't use any at all.
It's 80+ aluminum rated.

Thank you. We're you able to connect the usb ports on the motherboard to the front panel of this case?

Can you give us more info on the make/ model of your HP gaming PC? Thanks

Looks like your motherboard is something called an "Erica6". It's a B550A chipset with a "Customized: 29.09 x 20.3 cm (11.45 x 7.99 in)" form factor. I'm assuming you have ports to plug in peripherals (e.g, USB flash drives) on both sides of the motherboard. If so, one challenge will be to get it into a standard micro ATX case which usually only is meant for motherboards measuring 9.6x9.6 inches and only has space for ports in the rear where the I/O shield goes. Thus, my earlier comment about needing to mod the case. I personally wouldn't risk it, but if it doesn't work at least you're only out around $40. Hope this helps

The 2650v2 doesn't have an iGPU does it?

Can be modded to fit an ATX if anyone is interested:

Just need a more air friendly front cover and it would be great.

Technically you will need a gpu for that build as the 2650v2 does not have an igpu. Unless you are just building a headless server.

Not bad considering you can flip the 400W PSU it comes with.
Flip it like a self-frying patty?

Correct. I repurposed an old GTX mini card. I should have mentioned that. Other option is to buy an AMd Athlon with video rather than Xeon.

We've used different Rosewill cases with excellent results for years. Our last purchase was the $19.99 SRM-01B w/pre-installed 450W psu early in 2019. The PS was still working fine when I switched it out in favor of an EVGA 600. Sure things were tight for cable mgmt, but definitely doable. Compact(ish) and minimalistic, price/performance, exactly what I was looking for.
$19.99 for the case and PSU?

Thanks for that link. I just realized that the spare motherboard I have to put into this project case is full ATX, so I'll drill out the drive cage. Hopefully board will squeeze in with the power supply, but if not, I can swap for an SFX supply. This is a build for my elderly parents, so not a huge power requirement.
