It seems to be on your first repeat delivery of each individual product, rather than resetting with each new promotion. I've been using it for about a year and always get the 35% off a product if I haven't ordered it on repeat before.

Its 35% on new repeat delivery items. Back then there was a bug that lets you repeat 35% forever with a $35 max if you cancelled all repeat deliveries but since the fix, it's $20 max and only on repeat deliveries you haven't bought before. So if you want the most out of this, buy "one" product and max the $20. Then another individual item with a second different order and max $20 savings again. If you mix match items to save 35% discount and max at $20 savings, both items will no longer qualify for 35% off as both items are now considered subsequent orders and not "new" repeated deliveries.

Thanks for sharing. I thought the same too, but last year I ordered the same dog food twice a few months apart and it worked. I also just tried again with some of the same the dogs food I had previously bought looking at my order history. I know it resets even on the same products, but not sure if there is like a certain time period before you can do it again. I just assumed it was on new promotions because the banner for the repeat delivery would look different.

Same with Hill's Science I/D - Product page says 30% off first subscription and only 5% in the cart. (35% off Pill Pocket's treats etc. . .) Bummer - that food is so expensive!! Frown

It did not allow the 35% on a repeat delivery bag of dog food I had used the same promo before. It has been about a month plus so maybe need to wait a little longer for it to reset.

Petco also keeps sending me these 25% off buy online and pickup in store so I have been stocking up food for our big dog on the cheap that way.

Thanks! Worked for me on the Hills Science Diet c/d urinary care food. I'll take any discount I can on that stuff, it's so expensive!

Thank you for trying that!! It is taking the 35% off the Pill Pockets and treats, not the I/D food. Unless it is because I have used the promotion before. July, 2020 was the last time I ordered the I/D food and it does say "First Order". . . Others have said it "resets" - maybe not for me. (Or they know I order from Chewy most of the time!) Smilie

I still don't understand. If I order science diet today, it looks like I am going to get 30 to 35% off (still have to work out the math), which makes it worthwhile. But according to the website, all automatic deliveries of the same item, I will only get 5% off, which is no deal at all. So do I get that 30-35% off with every delivery, or just the first one?

It's just the first one and it's kind of hit and miss if you've used similar promos on the same product in the past. After the first one, you should get 5% off each subsequent order. (Don't think they'd last very long selling every delivery at 30-35% off.) I think it's like Amazon though, you could use it to save on a product and then cancel your subscription after.
