Don't forget to price-match to Walmart or Amazon to bring your out-of-pocket spend down even further (lower cost up front and savings on the sales tax on the price difference). Currently, Amazon has the AAA12 for $10.00, which
just satisfies the $10 purchase for your toner/inkjet Rewards.

I'm considering using dummy cells on some of those products, using 14500 LiIon and a dummy cell for each normal 1.5V cell pair they are designed for, but when they use an odd number of cells, that gets tricky.
That said, I have had one Duracell Coppertop pack leak years before the dates on the batteries. I contacted Duracell a few months ago, and they sent me a coupon good for a new pack, I should be able to get Optimums on sale and get nearly the same number as the Coppertop pack that leaked. The Optimums seem to be doing OK for me so far, as I'm not stocking up a crazy amount on them, and the items that use them go through them fast enough that they won't sit around for years.
The one exception is in May, OD had a coupon to get $50 in Rewards for 10 cartridges. I got the $30 the next day. The remaining $20 took until early June.
Orders of 100 for maybe $.25 each or 500 for as low as $.15 each. They've been available for less in the past, but it's gone up a decent bit in the past year. I think I remember paying $.10 - .11 each in a bundle of 500-600 some years back, but more commonly around $.12-.13 each. I know buying 500-600 for maybe $75 really sounds like a lot, but when you recycle 30 each month (20 @ Staples + 10 @ OD), you're going through ~360 each year. That's a store credit value of ~$720?? There are other costs involved of course. Purchasing $10 minimum each month from OD (like these batteries) and $30 of ink every 180 days from Staples. Not to mention the time and gas involved with regular trip. Still not too hard to come out ahead if you plan your trips when you're going past a store anyway and use your rewards on things you need anyway or that are on sale, to avoid the hefty office store markups.
Thank you.

And it's trackable. Imagine that.

Use the 20% coupon they offer up for regular price items and purchase that
Otherwise, this would be a very very popular deal ;-)
