Great deal on the m18 fuel router if you have been waiting for one. Comes with the free 5.0 amp battery. The jig saw deal is a decent deal as well but not as good as the router

Needed a second router so I didn't need to detach mine from my router table. Brushless and woth a 5 amp battery is a great deal. Thanks!

Likely yes. There are combination M12/M18 chargers (and they tend to be included w/ M18 products), but the M12s usually don't come w/ M18 charging capability. If you check your charger, if there are *two* different slots for batteries, then you have a combination one.

Yes you will need M18 charger. I had to buy one. Make sure you buy rapid charge charger, charged batteries much quicker than standard M18 charger.

Can you use a 1/4 " to 1/2" adapter on this?

Not that well. Jonathan Katz-Moses just did a roundup on YouTube. Go check it out. The Milwaukee has some weird play in it.

Quarter turn with an allen key fixes that issue. It's frustrating that it's loose out of the factory, but it is an easy fix. Mine hasn't slipped since I tightened it, but ymmv. If you're already invested in the batteries, it's a good option.

Yeah, I believe he figured that out, but was worried about reliability because then it became very hard to adjust and worried it might loosen. Anyway otherwise he loved it, so it's not crap or anything. I like Milwaukee, but all things being equal, I'd probably go another way here. But not a bad choice. Just not the best.

I been waiting months for the Dewalt router to go on sale. Im invested on their batteries so I rather just go with Dewalt. The free battery on this offer is cool but that would require me to get the charger :/
