That's just the oil type. Mine is 0w40. For 60 bucks its most likely conventional or synthetic which requires more frequent oil change intervals of 3k whereas full synthetic gets away with 7-10k

my car calls for "0W-20 Synthetic Oil" and that's what I paid the dealer last week for oil change. $60 + tax.

Oil weight doesn't determine if it is a full synthetic or not. There are 0w20s that are blends and there are full synthetic 0w20 oils.

0w-20 is an indication of viscosity, not whether it is synthetic. If you want to see if it is full synthetic, check to see if it says "full synthetic".
