I mean you might as well say "I'll wait for it to get to $10." This is the cheapest it's ever been for a brand new tv. If LG wants to boost sales of the C1, they'll just stop manufacturing the CX and sell out existing inventory at the same price. Seems to be in pretty high demand..

damn. then Costco all the way. No reason to buy at BB if you have a Costco membership. Good call out!

Tempting... but I really want a C1 after seeing the changes. Sadly they don't have any version of it for sale with a 1-2 year warranty plan included that would make me pull the trigger.

BuyDig now has the 48CX on sale for $1296.99, plus two VISA gift cards for $120, plus a CPS 4-year extended warranty that supposedly covers burn-in. So a net of $1,176.99, plus a longer warranty. Plus BuyDig qualifies for 2.5% in SD cashback. But not the convenience of Costco.

Costco's warranty doesn't cover burn-in, though.

What are your preferred changes? C1 doesn't seem any brighter than the CX, which is the biggest issue I have with the CX.

The 48" CX is great for use as a monitor. I use mine for work and play all day and have over 2000 hours on it, no sign of burn-in. It's a gorgeous screen every minute of every day!

No. As far as I know, only geeksquad covers burn-in

Based on several reviews it has a new game specific option then the OS is new and seems much faster. My current TVs OS is atrocious and that's about as important to me as all the other OLED/HDR/HDMI2.1 features.
