Anyone ever buy these refurbs from ring? I was going to buy from amazon, but since I need 3-4, I'm debating on getting from ring themselves to save myself a few extra bucks. I'm just wondering if returning in case anything goes wrong is as easy as it is with Amazon.
Its owned by amazon so yea its easy. I hear as long as u have their premium subscription u can warranty it for life
Depends on your settings and how much motion is around it. I have one in a very infrequently used place in the house, it's been up there since April 23rd, and is currently at 58% battery without any changes. Other cameras that see a lot of motion may only last a few weeks. They make solar panels and wall plugs you can add if you want to avoid battery changes.
I turn off the camera until I need to use it to see where my dogs are in the back yard. activating it a couple of times a day to live view the battery lasted about 5 months.
Not too long. I keep mine indoor and it only lasts about 3 weeks. It's frustrating to have to charge the battery too often.
