I'm the biggest makita guy out there and without a doubt this is their worst tool ever. just pathetic all around. cuts some things but I hope you're not in a hurry
Not sure why but some buyers don't prefer brushless in reciprocating saw.
Just like the other guy. I have about 30 makita tools. This one is a dumpster fire. Get their full size brushless instead.

I have both Milw and Mak. The Fuel is a beast for its size and voltage. Stick with the big Makita versus this tweener tool that does nothing really well.
Have you ever used the sub-compact recipro? I got one as part of a combo deal, and I like it
