Understatement. Even with a 6Ah battery it's slower than a hacksaw. I only found one time it was useful. This saw was the only one of several brands that would fit in a tight space overhead. Spend your money on the Brushless subcompact. It's much better.

I fully converted to makita 18v. What tools are must have? I've got drill and impact driver, router, jigsaw, oscillating, angle grinder, sawzall, 7 1/4 saw. Can't decide what flash light to get. Also maybe a blower. I do have a easy to use handheld gas blower.

If your drill/driver are not brushless, wait for a sale and pick em up. I started with some kit ones that were good, but brushed. To me it's a noticeable difference. Normally on some projects my brushed ones get too hot after some work, or worse, my drill will stall out on some big drilling jobs and it smokes up. Brushless I'm gravy.
This is so true. I love Makita and this is not a tool. This is a toy you give to your 4 year old so he can feel like dad.
