Bought one 10 months ago, battery just died. Dyson went straight by the book and told me to buy a new battery at $130. I didn't buy the Walmart extended warranty but bought it with my Costco Citi credit card so going through them to see if they'll cover the fix. So buyer beware. I have 2 other refurb corded vacuums that work just fine, the battery is the thing here that is unpredictable.

That having been said, this is the best deal you'll find on this vacuum refurbished. You want the fluffy head if you have any sort of hard surface flooring, and that only comes with the absolute package

Luke warm unless you need one now. Being from Walmart is a HUGE plus when it comes to warranty or returns.

I haven't seen a better deal on this specific model since Black Friday, and no guarantee when a better one would come around.

How is the Walmart "protection plan"? Is it worth it for something like this? I'm getting ready to bite the bullet on one of these since we literally do not have a working vacuum now.

Great deal, this ties several FP prices before. I got the v8 absolute version for $230 about a month ago and it's been great so far, cleans my 2 story house with pets with ease and the attachments make cleaning patio and one of the sofas easy

Jumped on it immediately. Bought one in January and liked it so much we need another one for upstair. It came in a Dyson refurbished box. Other than that, all accessories are new. The main unit is factory cleaned like new. I'll be selling the soft roller since I only need one. The soft roller is currently $107 on Amazon, I think I can get at least $50 selling it.

Good idea to add the 4 year protection plan for $49. A new battery costs $130.

Edit: I contacted walmart protection plan (square trade) and they said since the battery is removable it is not covered.

Does this model have the removable battery? Also don't see mentions of attachments on the product page.

Edit: picked one up with the 4 year warranty and will just check when it arrives. These typically go fast so I wanted to jump on it.
