Wow, these take me right back into my baggy cords, oversized sweater wearing late 90's self.

My pair was black though (because, you know, the crushing weight and despair of middle school)

Thanks! In for 2 pair. When I'm not in my work boots, I'm usually in these. Unbelievably they had my size, 14 wide.

For a pair of $25, I expect an average pair for normal daily wear. If you are rough on your feet, lots of walking or movement on the job, then you may need something more durable.

Not bad but don't expect a lot of longevity from them. The rubber soles split at the ball of my foot after about 7 months of wearing them 2-3 times a week.

Would these be okay for light work shoes? Gonna be doing backyard fence work and all I have are sneakers and dress shoes.

They used to be fantastic (like in 1997/98). Then they changed them (and charged more for them) and since then they're pretty much disposable. I still love the look.

I used to have multiple pairs of these in brown, brown brushed, black, black brushed, etc.
