Teflon inside. Get the instant pot. It is stainless inside.

No, get this, non-stick is much easier to clean that stainless, and you are never scraping these so the wear is not a problem.

Neither has a stainless insert, so get this if you think you'll need 8qt. Also, I wish they had named it crackpot

Owned this for over 2 years and it works alright. The seal that locks the top let's steam out not providing enough pressure to automatically lock the steam from getting out. So you have to physically push it down to add additional pressure to get the lock in place. It's somewhat of a PITA.

But for 8qts at $35 (I paid $40) this is still a good deal.

Good deal, I bought one at around $50 a few months back. It is HUGE, if you are cooking for a large family, this is for you. If you are cooking for 1 or 3 get 3 qt, family of four or so I would say 6 Qt

Amazon sells an instant pot branded 8 qt stainless steel insert for $35. Reviews say it fits this 8qt insignia. It is nice to have 2 pots- one to cook the main meal and the second to cook the rice.
