Do you send the batteries to the house, tool to the store? Or tool to the house, batteries to store?

Hell yeah! Awesome deal! I shipped the battery to the store (and I won't pick it up, money will be refunded back to card) and the tool to my house! Been wanting an angle grinder for quite some time now. Good find!

One thing to be aware of before buying: this angle grinder requires that you use X-LOCK grinder discs. This is NOT compatible with the majority of grinding discs. This an an excellent deal, but to me this seems like a deal breaker.

I wonder if it makes sense to go to the store for pickup and let them know you want to return the battery? Anyone tried this? I assume they would just credit the card back for the amount without the wait.

I am in the same boat. I decided on this one as I occasionally use this tool and am not using this on the daily. Rather save the money. Essentially the only difference between tools is how to power it on, right? Paddle vs Button Slide (this one)?

Yeah but my store won't let me return even though it's 2 separate items on receipt

I set it up to deliver tool to home and battery pickup at store. So you tried this and they denied returning the battery only?

Yeah they would let me return tool and battery but not just battery. I have no problem doing in different home depot but it's 12 miles away.

no hate, was looking on maybe jumping in on this, but it looks like the x-lock is only compatible with x-lock accessories. I have a lot of other brand discs and really don't want to buy more! just wanted to throw it out there in case it would affect someone's decision
