This line in the AMEX offer terms makes me nervous:
When I begin the checkout process, Dell does refer to this system being in my "Member Purchase Program Cart". Any input is much appreciated!

you cash out your mining revenue daily? I doubt it. If you're looking at mining like a daily income then you are deceiving yourself. Should track how much ETH or BTC or whatever you are getting and then think a little longer term. Something like very low-key DCA for investing. Realistically you are better off to outright buy crypto right now but if you want a low-mid range gaming rig and will mine when it is idle then you can put some ETH away at 24MH/s (or whatever you can tweak it to get)

There are a couple of things to note about the entire XPS line: Upgrading the CPU cooler and rear fan are a must, and I highly recommend moving the HDD bracket from the front slot to the top to improve airflow. With this configuration you would also want to factor in upgrading your memory to 16GB as well if you plan on gaming, but its current configuration, just with better cooling could likely serve as a decent budget pc for the time being.
Another note is like the PSU, the motherboard is proprietary so you can't just drop it into a roomier case without some serious alterations
