It includes a Chromecast Ultra which is worth at least $60 in my opinion

The controller itself and google stadia are kind of a neat concept but I don't use it often

Got two of these both came free "you tube premium and cyberpunk deals". If you need one its a pretty good deal but if you can wait I am sure google will give these away for free again. Imho this is the future of gaming, I can play my games on literally any device I have for free (no premium membership required). Only complaint is the visual quality on some titles is inferior due to image compression colors look dull I dont know if premium's colors look any better.

How much did you pay for the "you tube premium and cyberpunk deals"?

It was $60 for the game and they threw in the stadia and chromecast free. Could only play the game on stadia though and my gpu outperforms the quality available

I'm pretty sure you had to buy Cyberpunk for $60 to get the free Stadia controller and Chromecast Ultra. Not sure about the Youtube Premium offer.

From my understanding, the internals are very similar. If you need a wired network connection, this deal would be the way to go, since the Ultra includes a power adapter with an Ethernet port, and the Google TV version doesn't (sold separately for $20).

I have chromecast gen 1 and i just plug the usb part into the tv for power. is either of these ready to go with that? Also... I really am only interested in the chromecast part. So do you think it would be better to buy the video stadia one and flip the controller or just buy Google Tv? Thanks in advanced for your guidance.

If you don't have any intention of using the "Google TV" component (which is really what the remote is for), you would probably come out ahead from a cost perspective with the Stadia version by selling the controller. However, the Ultra is almost 5 years old at this point, so it's probably a good bet that the TV version will be supported longer (and is already running a newer software version).

I'll probably just buy the google tv version then. Don't wanna get stuck with the controller. Thanks for the help
