I have had mixed results with them on dispute, but a recent experience did leave a bad taste in my mouth. It was for a botched car repair and the owner of the shop ghosted me when I tried to get him to redo the job. I went to another shop, had it redone and had the mechanic state WHY it was redone right on the receipt I uploaded this document to Citi when I first filed the dispute. Citi then requested the document. I called and they confirmed they received it and it was just a mixup. A few weeks later I get a nastygram: "We haven't received the item we asked for and if you don't send it we're going to rule against you." I called them again. So sorry, we made a mistake again. No worries, it will all be handled. Another 1-2 weeks ago by and now the dispute is closed. You didn't send us this letter we asked for blah blah. I called and they, again, apologized for the error. We will get this reopened because obviously you did send us what we needed. Nope. Dispute remained closed in the merchant's favor and the official reason is that I never sent the requested document. The document is still right there on my account attached to the dispute. Nonetheless, I could never get it resolved and I ultimately paid $1,000 for what was initially a $400 job. I expected better considering we spend $50k+ per year on that very same card.
So you can front run their algo, you need to use the correct the chargeback language with them

Yeah, I know the deal. They just kept asking for the same piece of paper over and over again - the piece of paper they already had. Had anyone read it, I have no doubt the dispute would have been decided in my favor.

I would recommend doing it over the credit karma link for $300. In branch you only get $250 and it's a higher chance to get declined. BTW, it's totally to reapply after a few days, the system will get refreshed.

Does anyone know if someone can switch their current Citi card to this type? Im not worried about the bonus but I think it does better overall than my Citi Rewards+.

I switched from rewards+ over to this card just this past week because they offered the switch to me in an in-app pop-up (+email).

Can one account have both Citi Double Cash and Citi Custom Cash cards or do you have to switch from Double Cash to Custom Cash? I am trying to figure out if I apply for Custom Cash it will cause issues with my Double Cash.
